Fellow student originally ducks under a lunchroom table when Bush fires, but then recognizes her from his school bus. Bush at this point is saying that she does not want to live and she should just commit suicide right here. She points the gun at her head and the student begins talking to her. Bush points the gun at him, and the principal tells the boy to back away. However, he continues trying to calm down Bush because he fears more people will get hurt. He says that Bush looks very mad, like she is about to go off on everybody. She eventually puts down the gun, and the boy is able to kick the gun away.
