Police search his home and find a 180 page journal that details his plan and preparations. Police believe he meant to carry out the attack in the next week or two. In the journal, he allegedly mentions the Columbine, Virginia Tech, and Sandy Hook shooters, and especially idolizes the Columbine shooters. Police recover seven firearms, ammunition, and three functional bombs from the boy's home, along with black clothing and a ski mask, according to news station KARE-TV. Police also find three bombs, along with chemicals, 60 pounds of metal ball bearings, and other materials in the storage unit.
