At 9.01am Cho mails a package to NBC News in New York which contains pictures of himself holding weapons, an 1,800 word rant, and video clips where he expresses rage, resentment, and desire to get even with oppressors. He alludes to a coming massacre. Cho prepared this material in previous weeks. Cho also mails a letter to the English Department of VT attacking a certain professor who he had been arguing with previously. Classes in a lecture hall start at 9.05AM. Cho is spotted outside then inside the hall. He chains three entrance doors shut.
