In the execution of a search warrant, officers find a hidden compartment in the floorboard of Acord’s bedroom. Police find several handwritten journals and six completed homemade destructive devices (2 pipe bombs, 2 Molotov cocktails, and at least 2 Drano bombs). The journals and other documents contain written and typed plans, including diagrams to commit “mass murder” at West Albany High School. Officers also find printed copies of webpages with information about what weapons and gear were used by Eric and Dylan (Columbine killers) in the Columbine attack. Officers also find a list of “Needed Items”, that include more materials for explosive devices, ammunition, a hi-point 995 rifle, and a Mossberg 500 pump action shotgun.
