After homecoming dance, he posted on snapchat that he did not want to live anymore, and mentioned other things about his ex girlfriend. Friends saw this but did not report it. He sent pictures of the gun to his ex girlfriend and mentioned killing himself, just so she would talk to him. She did not report this. One friend also mentioned that Fryberg liked to fight.
