Howard angrily left Bait and Guns (which is 50 miles away from the Ohio University Campus), but returned an hour later. According to Wreg.com, when Downs saw Howard again, he locked the door, turned off the open sign, and hid his customers in the back. Downs then asked a customer to call 911. " We loaded three guns up, and hopefully he didn't try to come through the door, thank you Lord," Downs said. "Just the look in his eye... there was something about him," Downs said. "I don't know.
