Around 11:00 P.M. on Saturday April 23, 2016 at Antigo High School in Antigo, Wisconsin, Jakob Wagner, a student, shoots two people leaving the Antigo High School prom. The two prom-goers, one male who attended Antigo High, and his female date from out of state, are shot in the leg and grazed by a bullet, respectively. Wagner shoots them in the school parking lot with a high powered rifle with a large ammunition clip. Interim district administrator Donald B. Childs tells The Associated Press that it appears Wagner intended to go into the building and shoot at people at the dance."We have no reason to believe at this point it was targeting anybody specifically," Childs said, adding that the shooting outside the entrance happened "from some distance."
