Fryberg’s father purchases pistols in 2013, one of which Fryberg later uses in the school shooting. Fryberg’s father had a restraining order against a former partner for domestic abuse, and was not allowed to own firearms as a result. When he filled out the ATF form to purchase the gun, he marked “no” in the section asking about any restraining orders.
