Carpenter meets up with a patient and continues to talk about the Columbine shooting and how crazy it would be if it happened again. The patient told police that Carpenter was obsessed with talking about guns. Later that night, patients report to staff at Hope House that Carpenter and Thulin were "planning on traveling to Danbury High and shooting up the place like Columbine".
