The first female complains of Cho making “annoying” contact with her via the Internet, phone, and in person. She never presses charges. The second female complains about Cho for also sending e-mails and going in disguise to her dorm room. VTPD tells Cho he is to have no contact with either female student. He writes to his suitemate “I might as well kill myself,” and the suitemate notifies the police. He is declared as “an imminent danger to self of others” and is transported to a mental hospital for an overnight stay. He is released the next morning as not a danger to himself or others.
