At his time of arrest, he says he was not bullied. Later, he says bullying caused him to shoot up the school. He has given other contradicting reasons for the attack over the years. Originally he said he did not intend to kill anybody, but his actions would say otherwise. He then said he is a “great liar”, and that he wanted the attack to end in suicide by cop. Once again, his actions did not suggest this was his motive, because he never shot at police and surrendered when instructed.
