Four eight grade boys who attend Haysville Middle School were talking about a mass murder scheme in an online chat room on May 12, 2016. Their posts indicated that they were planning to bomb and shoot people on school grounds at Haysville Middle School in Haysville, Kansas, school officials said. Staff members and the school resource officer at Haysville Middle School were made aware of “threatening messages made via the internet” shortly after 9:30 a.m., Haysville Police Chief Jeff Whitfield said in a statement. “The threats involved several students causing violence against classmates and staff members at the school,” Whitfield said.
